Their emotional traumas overcome them and snuff out their spirit. Their family systems convert their minds into deadness. They lose their creativity and wildness, they block out the emotional reality of their childhoods, and they become automatons. They survive in order to live for comfort, happiness, and emotional camouflage. They become the norm.<br /><br />The child withins death rate the whole world over is profoundly high. Yet the people who take the statistics and rule the governments and make the children and devote their careers to “educating” them are by and large dead themselves, and part of their deadness involves ignoring this. They lack connection to their own inner psychic nutrients and instead get them from feeding, like vultures, on the energy of the vulnerable ones who are still alive. And because this is so normal no one bats an eye. It is indefensible, yet families and society are structured to defend it. And the easiest way to defend it is to say that it’s not even happening.<br /><br />It is a painful thing to wake up — and to fight for your child within. It breaks rules. It angers the norm. It enrages parents. It puts a target on your back. And it hurts. It hurts like hell. It hurts to rip down the psychic prison wall and feel the old traumas, the old longings, the old memories. It hurts to grieve, to feel the rage, to confront the perpetrators, to break the denial. It hurts to shed the mask of comfort and walk into the despair. It hurts to reject the fantasy of one day being loved by those who never really loved you and instead drank your psychic blood. It hurts to leave the family system behind. It hurts to stand on your own.<br /><br />Yet this process of waking up, and this alone, is the pathway back to life — to a long, healthy inner life. We must walk in our own nurturance, delight in the pleasure of our own company, and play with our own child—the child that has awaited us most, awaits our attention and affection. Then we can love others without strings attached. When we’re in love with ourselves we can approach others without neediness or a hidden agenda—the expectations of rescue.<br /><br />If we were neglected as children, we enter adulthood as love-cripples. Now we must take the time alone, without the distractions or projections so often a part of romance, sex, and having a partner, in order to love the damaged child within. We must take the time to connect to the life force glowing within us. We may need guidance from an enlightened stages guide or friend to learn the ways of self-love. A love-guide—a guide of caring and respect and boundaries and maturity—who witnesses our true value may provide us the first experience of true love we’ve ever had.<br /><br />It is easy to avoid self-love by instead misusing others. We may project our damaged child within onto another and then try to love them. His or her wounded nature calls for our attention. We see their ache, but not our own. In fact, we dismiss our own cry for love as we project our pain outward, seeking to cure another instead of ourselves. Or, we may take a different tack to avoid self-love and try to seduce and manipulate love and attention out of others selfishly, because we are unable to give ourselves our own nurture.<br /><br />It is important to remember that love becomes a manipulative bargaining chip when self-love is missing. Without the expectations of rescue.<br /> <br /> If we were neglected as children, we enter adulthood as love-cripples. Now we must take the time alone, without the distractions or projections so often a part of romance, sex, and having a partner, in order to love the damaged child within. We must take the time to connect to the life force glowing within us. We may need guidance from an enlightened stages guide or friend to learn the ways of self-love. A love-guide—a guide of caring and respect and boundaries and maturity—who witnesses our true value may provide us the first experience of true love we’ve ever had.<br /> <br /> It is easy to avoid self-love by instead misusing others. We may project our damaged child within onto another and then try to love them. Our wounded nature calls for our attention. We see their ache, but not our own. In fact, we dismiss our own cry for love as we project our pain outward, seeking to cure another instead of ourselves. Or, we may take a different tack to avoid self-love and try to seduce and manipulate love and attention out of others selfishly, because we are unable to give ourselves our own nurture.<br /> <br /> It is important to remember that love becomes a manipulative bargaining chip when self-love is missing. Children have massive needs, and where parents fail to meet these needs – whether society notices or cares or even bats an eye – the child ends up abused. Children are born into the world with a total right to have all their needs met. This is the responsibility of parents, and although parents have a whole palette of ways and techniques to deny their responsibility and pathologise defenders of the child, this does not change the basic facts. Our Child Within experience torture when our needs go unmet,  it is only because we are taking the deep emotional side of the most disenfranchised minority in our society: the child. The hidden child our child within.<br /><br />We become so identified with what happened that they stay stuck there; always identified by what happened, and in many cases, we use that identification as an excuse not to grow our consciousness it remains in a trapped unconscious state.<br /><br />Bad things happen to good people. There is a lot of suffering in the world. But that doesn't have to be where we LIVE our lives!<br /><br />The state we are in changes during the day. Sometimes we are in a sleep state, sometimes we are in a DISSY state, sometimes we are in an excited state.<br /><br />We can be in all kinds of different states. The state that we go into when we experience a trauma is totally normal and natural. But afterwards,the state we stay in is not up to us it is governed by our child within and is easily triggered into a dissociated state which becomes the paramount state we live our "dissy" lives. Cut off alienated on a strange hostile planet<br /><br /> We are not saying that these things didn't happen and that in that moment we aren't a victim. Of course we are. But after that moment happens, how we live our life, where we choose to live emotionally, is not up to us it up to our subconscious ! Moments of victimhood have happened,<br /><br />The life of being a victim is not chosen. We have become a victim of our choice to identify with a moment of trauma in our childhood.<br /><br />The problem is not to avoid pain of childhood trauma and constantly revisit it or to deny what happened to us; the goal is to learn that we have the power within us to connect with our child within and that starts by not letting an event define us. But to fearlessly look within to the child. So when they do, give them an empowering meaning instead of choosing to relive them over and over. Don't make the trauma that we felt become our identity.<br /><br />Who you are is infinite; you are a child within and we have been sent here with a specific gifts of perfection that are only ours to express. The childhood events that occur are not meant to shape us,or to mould us or to help us step into what society and culture thinks supposes us to be. We are not broken. We do not need to be fixed. We are eternal and a part of Loving -Kindness that supports us. Remaining unconscious is what empowers the dissociated child within to take possession of our personality at times, to overpower the will of the adult. We quietly come to an understanding with our child within seriously, and to consciously communicate in the language of childhood with that little girl or boy within: to uncover a separated being, to listen to how we truly feel and what we need from us in reality. Our frustrated primal needs of that perennial child within--for love, acceptance, protection, nurturance, understanding--remain the same today as when we were children. We have become traumatised by the toxic parental voice. We are futilely attempting to force others into fulfilling infantile needs for us, this is doomed to failure. What we didn't sufficiently receive in the past from our parents as children is communicated to our child within in the present. The past traumas, sadness, disappointments and depression cannot be changed and are gently accepted. We swallow this "bitter pill," as we call it: that, unfortunately for most of us, infantile needs were, maliciously or not, unmet by our imperfect parents or caretakers. And they never will be, no matter how good or smart or attractive or spiritual or loving we become. Those days are over. What was done cannot be undone. We should not now expect others to meet all of these unfulfilled childhood needs.This is a heavy burden for any child within to carry therefore we acknowledge the old coping strategies and build in redundancy. This is acknowledged by listening to the freed voice of the child within. The intuitive voice born out of the ten stage study. Authentic adulthood requires both accepting the painful past and the primary responsibility for taking care of that child withins liberation. This coming to believe and resurrection of the child produce a homeostasis many of us at this stage feel a release and a sense of profound wellbeing. Our dysfunctional behaviours become redundant and automatically leave us as we shine in a newly found life.We are reborn.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />We relate to the child within we have learnt to identify the parental socially DISSY voice, indispensable elements of loving and living for our child within,. By initiating and maintaining an connection with our intuitive voice causes a strong reconciliation between child within and the adult it has reached. A new, mutually beneficial, cooperative, symbiotic life can be created with the child within and its freeing intuitive voice becoming creatively satisfied in a new,exciting liberated world.
